# Ingredients Required:

→ Batter

01 - 240 grams pancake mix
02 - 300 milliliters milk
03 - 1 large egg

→ Filling and Topping

04 - 454 grams breakfast sausage
05 - 120 milliliters maple syrup, plus extra for serving
06 - Butter or oil for greasing the skillet

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - In a skillet over medium heat, brown the breakfast sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and set aside.
02 - Whisk together pancake mix, milk, and egg in a bowl until smooth. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes to thicken.
03 - Heat a greased skillet over medium heat. Pour batter to form small pancakes. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden. Make at least six pancakes.
04 - In a greased baking dish, layer pancakes, cooked sausage, and a drizzle of maple syrup. Repeat layers, finishing with a pancake on top.
05 - Optionally, pour additional maple syrup over the top layer.
06 - Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 10 to 15 minutes to warm through and blend flavors.
07 - Slice the casserole and serve warm with extra maple syrup. Pair with fresh fruit or coffee if desired.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Allowing the batter to rest before cooking helps pancake texture become light and fluffy.
