Creamy Beef Pasta (Printable Version)

# Ingredients Required:

01 - 283 g chickpea flour pasta or any high-protein pasta

→ Sauce and Meat

02 - 15 ml olive oil
03 - 1 medium onion, finely diced
04 - 1 medium green bell pepper, finely diced
05 - 454 g lean ground beef
06 - 4 garlic cloves, crushed
07 - 1 tablespoon dried oregano
08 - 1 teaspoon paprika
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
10 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
11 - 30 g tomato paste
12 - 240 ml tomato sauce (passata)
13 - 120 ml light cream cheese
14 - 120 ml light sour cream
15 - 6–8 fresh basil leaves

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta following package directions until al dente. Reserve 240-480 ml of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and green bell pepper, cooking until softened, about 3 to 4 minutes.
03 - Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart and cooking until browned. Stir in crushed garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper, cooking for an additional minute to enhance flavors.
04 - Incorporate tomato paste and tomato sauce into the skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes to develop a rich, cohesive sauce.
05 - Reduce heat to low and stir in light cream cheese and sour cream until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Heat gently without boiling.
06 - Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss well to coat with the creamy beef sauce. Adjust consistency by adding reserved pasta water gradually until silky.
07 - Tear fresh basil leaves over the pasta. Season to taste and serve immediately.
