Vanilla Cinnamon Tea (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Sweetener

01 - Honey, sugar alternative, or regular sugar as much as you like

→ Tea

02 - 4 teaspoons loose black tea or 4 tea bags (totally your call)

→ Flavorings

03 - 4 vanilla beans (split with seeds scraped) or 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
04 - 4 cinnamon sticks or swap for 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
05 - Toss in 2 whole star anise if you want

→ Liquid Base

06 - 2 cups milk (go with dairy or your favorite plant milk)
07 - 2 cups water

# How to Make It:

01 - Pop in your sweetener. Pour into mugs if you like it hot, or let it chill and put it over ice.
02 - Pour the warm milk into the spiced mixture after straining out the chunky bits. Give everything a good stir.
03 - Gently warm up the milk in another pot. Make sure it doesn't start bubbling.
04 - Drop in tea bags or loose tea leaves if that's your thing. Let them steep for 3 to 5 minutes to taste.
05 - Keep it all covered and let the flavors hang out in the hot water for 10 minutes.
06 - Toss cinnamon and vanilla bean into the hot water. Switch off the burner and put the lid on so everything can steep. If using ground spices or extract, just mix them straight in, no waiting needed. Want star anise? In it goes.
07 - Heat water in a little pot until it starts rolling.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Grab whole beans or spices for a bigger aroma. Let them sit in the liquid longer if you want a bolder kick.
