Set oven to 190°C. Position the turkey in a roasting pan, breast side up.

In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic, rosemary, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Rub the entire turkey with olive oil or melted butter. Brush half of the glaze over the skin evenly.

Pour chicken broth into the pan base. Roast uncovered for 90 to 120 minutes, basting the turkey with remaining glaze every 30 minutes.

Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest thigh section and confirm it reaches 74°C.

Remove from oven, loosely cover with foil, and rest for 15 minutes prior to carving.
