06 - Heat a generous amount of oil in a medium pan over medium-low heat, sufficient to cover the dough strips.
07 - Carefully place the dough strips in the heated oil and fry until golden brown on all sides.
08 - Transfer fries to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease.
09 - Sprinkle with salt to taste and serve immediately.
