Sausage Sweet Potato (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 14 ounces chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into chunky rounds
02 - 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped into tiny cubes
03 - 2 cups broccoli, cut into small florets

→ Sauce

04 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
05 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 1/4 cup honey
07 - 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
09 - Salt to taste
10 - Black pepper, add as much as you want

→ Finishing

11 - 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley

# How to Make It:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) so it's really warmed up for cooking.
02 - Lay your sausage rounds, cubes of sweet potato, and broccoli pieces on a baking sheet. Make sure they're spread out and not stacked on top of each other.
03 - Melt the butter in a small pan over medium. Throw in your garlic, cooking till it's super fragrant—just a minute or two does the trick.
04 - Pour in your honey, vinegar, soy sauce, and a good shake of salt and pepper. Let that all come to a bubble and stir it around for 2–3 minutes so it gets syrupy.
05 - Pour the hot sauce all over your pan full of sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. Give it a toss so everything is covered.
06 - Put the pan into your oven. Bake for about 25–30 minutes, stirring things halfway, until the sausage is cooked through and the sweet potato is tender.
07 - Throw some parsley over everything and eat up while it's still steaming. Get it to the table right away—don't wait!

# Additional Tips:

01 - Want a kick? Stir in some red pepper flakes with your sauce.
02 - Pick whatever kind of sausage you like best—Italian or pork work great too.
