Pea Salad (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Stuff

01 - One pack (16 oz) of peas, either thawed from frozen or canned
02 - Chopped up 2 hard-cooked eggs
03 - 4 to 6 pieces of bacon cooked and crumbled or a cup of chopped cooked ham if you prefer
04 - Half a cup of green onions chopped or regular onions if that's what you like
05 - A cup of your favorite shredded cheese, cheddar works great

→ Seasonings

06 - A quarter teaspoon of black pepper
07 - Half a teaspoon of salt
08 - A quarter teaspoon of garlic powder
09 - Half a teaspoon of celery seeds or half a cup of chopped celery
10 - Just a pinch of cayenne to kick it up

→ Dressing

11 - Half a cup of mayo
12 - Half a cup of sour cream

# How to Make It:

01 - Get a big bowl and mix peas, eggs, bacon or ham, onions, and cheese all together.
02 - Add black pepper, salt, garlic powder, celery seeds or celery pieces, plus that pinch of cayenne. Stir it around well so the taste spreads.
03 - In another bowl, mix mayo and sour cream until smooth. Pour over the peas mix and fold everything gently to coat it all.
04 - Cover and put in the fridge for at least one hour. This lets all the flavors blend nicely before you eat.
