Onion Beef Rice Bake (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 2 cups rice (cold, leftover works best)
02 - 1 pound beef, ground
03 - 1 big onion, chopped
04 - 1 cup veggie mix (corn, carrots, and peas)
05 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
06 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
07 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
08 - 1 tablespoon cooking oil
09 - Salt and pepper as needed
10 - 2 scallions, cut thin (for topping)

# How to Make It:

01 - Get your oven hot at 350°F (175°C).
02 - Grab a big pan and warm the cooking oil on medium-high.
03 - Toss in your ground beef and cook it brown, smashing it up as you go.
04 - Throw in your chopped onion and garlic, then cook until the onion goes clear.
05 - Mix in your veggie blend and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes more.
06 - Drop in your cold rice, breaking any lumps. Pour your soy sauce and oyster sauce over it all, and mix everything well.
07 - Shake in some salt and pepper until it tastes right to you.
08 - Dump the whole mix into a baking dish and flatten it out.
09 - Stick it in your hot oven for 15-20 minutes until the top gets a bit crunchy.
10 - Take it out and let it sit a few minutes. Sprinkle those cut scallions on top before you serve it.
