01 -
Scoot your skillet under the broiler for about 1 or 2 minutes. Watch it so the cheese gets bubbly and melted but doesn't burn. Pull it out quick if it browns up fast.
02 -
Sprinkle that shredded cheddar all over the top of the tater tots. Get it nice and covered.
03 -
Take your crispy tots and lay them gently across the sloppy joe stuff. Press them into the sauce so they soak up flavor.
04 -
Pour in ketchup, tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, mustard, and Worcestershire. Mix everything up. Let it bubble gently on low heat for around 5 minutes so it thickens.
05 -
Toss in garlic, paprika, onion powder, some salt, and black pepper. Stir for a minute till you really smell it.
06 -
Drizzle olive oil in a big oven-safe pan on medium. Add the ground beef and onions. Cook about 8 minutes, stirring, till the meat gets nicely browned and the onions are soft.
07 -
Start by following the directions on the tater tot bag. Spread tots out on a baking tray and cook till they're golden and crispy.
