Sweet Jalapeno Pork (Printable Version)

Tender pork cubes marinated in a sweet, spicy jalapeno sauce, perfect for grilling or pan-frying.

# Ingredients Required:

→ Pork

01 - 900 grams pork shoulder, cut into 2.5 cm cubes

→ Marinade

02 - 200 grams brown sugar
03 - 120 milliliters soy sauce
04 - 60 milliliters apple cider vinegar
05 - 3 to 4 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped
06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 teaspoon ground ginger
08 - 15 milliliters olive oil
09 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, jalapenos, garlic, ground ginger, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add pork cubes and ensure they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or preferably overnight to enhance flavor.
02 - Pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Heat over medium flame until gently simmering, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens to desired consistency. Remove from heat and set aside.
03 - Grill or pan-fry the marinated pork cubes over medium-high heat until cooked through and edges are slightly caramelized, approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
04 - During the final minutes of cooking, brush the pork with the thickened jalapeno sauce to enhance flavor and glaze the meat.
05 - Plate the pork immediately while hot and serve as desired.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Marinating overnight intensifies the taste. Adjust jalapeno quantity to control heat level. Simmering sauce thickens and concentrates flavors.
