Spinach Puffs Cream Cheese (Printable Version)

Flaky puff pastry filled with creamy spinach, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese, baked crisp and golden.

# Ingredients Required:

→ Vegetables

01 - 240 g frozen spinach, thawed and drained

→ Dairy

02 - 225 g cream cheese, softened
03 - 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 60 g shredded cheddar cheese

→ Pastry

05 - 1 sheet puff pastry (approx. 450 g)

→ Spices and Seasonings

06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - Salt and black pepper to taste

→ Others

08 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Set the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F).
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the thawed spinach, softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until smooth and uniform.
03 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to an even thickness. Using a 7.5 cm diameter cutter, cut into circles.
04 - Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each pastry circle. Fold each circle over to form a half-moon shape and press the edges firmly with a fork to seal.
05 - Brush the surface of each folded pastry with the beaten egg to achieve a golden crust during baking.
06 - Arrange the prepared puffs on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
