Pineapple Pork Slow Cooked (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - Salt and pepper, toss in as you like
02 - A bunch of green onions, chopped for topping
03 - 1 tablespoon water
04 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
05 - 3 garlic cloves, chopped up fine
06 - 1 teaspoon ginger, minced up
07 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
08 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
09 - 1 can (20 oz) pineapple bits, drain and keep the juice
10 - 2 pounds pork shoulder or pork butt, cut into big pieces

# How to Make It:

01 - Once the sauce thickens, put the pork and pineapple back in the slow cooker. Spoon the thick sauce over it and sprinkle with those green onions.
02 - Take out the pineapple bits and pork, set them aside for now. Move the leftover liquid from the slow cooker into a pan. Mix in your cornstarch and water blend while you boil and stir until it thickens up.
03 - Mix up your water and cornstarch in a tiny bowl until smooth.
04 - During the last hour in the slow cooker, dump in your pineapple bits.
05 - Pop the lid on and cook low and slow for 6-8 hours or crank it up and go high for 3-4 hours until it’s fall-apart soft.
06 - Then pour all that juice mix over the pork in the slow cooker.
07 - Toss all your pork pieces into your slow cooker.
08 - Mix that pineapple juice you saved with soy sauce, brown sugar, chopped garlic, minced ginger, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Let the pork soak overnight in the soy and pineapple mixture if you want bigger flavor.
