03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

→ Liquids and Sauces

05 - 240 ml chicken broth
06 - 80 ml soy sauce
07 - 60 ml honey

→ Condiments and Spices

08 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
09 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
10 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
11 - ½ teaspoon salt
12 - ½ teaspoon black pepper

→ Oils and Thickeners

13 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
14 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch
15 - 2 tablespoons water

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides evenly with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for approximately 3 minutes per side until golden brown, avoiding full cooking at this stage.
03 - Place sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot to create a flavor foundation.
04 - Position the seared chicken breasts atop the onion and garlic layer.
05 - Whisk together chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, and dried thyme in a separate bowl. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
06 - Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
07 - Remove the cooked chicken from the crockpot and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm during sauce preparation.
08 - Combine cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the crockpot’s remaining liquid and cook on high for 10 to 15 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
09 - Plate the chicken and spoon the thickened sauce over the top. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Searing the chicken before slow cooking enhances flavor and texture without overcooking.
