Evenly layer the cooked sausage, optional vegetables, and shredded cheese in the prepared baking dish. If using, scatter bread cubes evenly on top.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
