Preheat the oven to 220°C. Using a small sharp knife, score each halved potato. Place the melted butter into a 23 x 33 cm baking dish and warm in the oven for 5 minutes until fully melted.

Remove the dish from the oven. Add Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the melted butter, stirring until a well-combined paste forms. Spread evenly along the bottom of the baking dish.

Place the halved potatoes cut side down on the paste in the baking dish. Brush the tops with the reserved melted butter. Bake in the oven for approximately 35 minutes until golden brown and crisp.

Separate the potatoes with a spatula and serve warm, optionally accompanied by ranch dip or preferred sauces.
