Oven Baked Chicken Taquitos (Printable Version)

# Ingredients Required:

01 - 320 g cooked shredded chicken
02 - 120 g shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend)
03 - 113 g cream cheese, softened
04 - 60 ml salsa
05 - 0.5 tsp chili powder
06 - 0.5 tsp garlic powder
07 - 0.25 tsp ground cumin
08 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

→ Wraps and Cooking

09 - 12 small flour tortillas
10 - Cooking spray or olive oil, for brushing

→ Optional Toppings

11 - Sour cream
12 - Guacamole
13 - Chopped cilantro

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with cooking spray.
02 - In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, shredded cheese, and softened cream cheese until fully blended.
03 - Add salsa, chili powder, garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, and pepper to the chicken mixture. Stir thoroughly to combine.
04 - Spoon approximately 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of the filling onto the center of each tortilla. Roll tightly and secure with a toothpick if needed. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Lightly brush or spray the tops of the rolled tortillas with cooking spray or olive oil to ensure crispiness.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until taquitos are golden brown and crispy.
07 - Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving with optional sour cream, guacamole, or chopped cilantro.
