# Ingredients Required:

→ Soup Base

01 - 454 g ground beef
02 - 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
03 - 1/2 yellow onion, diced
04 - 0.5 tsp garlic powder
05 - 0.5 tsp onion powder
06 - 0.25 tsp dried basil
07 - 0.5 tsp dried oregano
08 - 1 tsp kosher salt, plus additional to taste
09 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
10 - 400 g crushed tomatoes (canned)
11 - 946 ml chicken broth, more if needed
12 - 240 ml water
13 - 2 tsp tomato paste
14 - 170 g lasagna noodles, broken into ~5 cm pieces
15 - 240 ml frozen chopped spinach
16 - 60 ml heavy cream

→ For Serving

17 - Ricotta cheese, as desired
18 - 115 g mozzarella cheese, sliced
19 - Parmesan cheese, optional, for garnish

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up frequently, until well browned. Drain excess fat, leaving browned bits for flavor.
02 - Add minced garlic, diced onion, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried oregano, kosher salt, and black pepper to the pot. Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently until onions soften and aromas develop.
03 - Pour crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, water, and tomato paste into the pot. Stir in broken lasagna noodles. Increase heat to bring to a boil, then reduce to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes until noodles soften.
04 - Stir in frozen chopped spinach and heavy cream. Simmer uncovered on low heat for 5 minutes to heat spinach and meld flavors. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
05 - Place a slice of mozzarella in each serving bowl. Ladle hot soup over the cheese to melt it. Top with a dollop of ricotta and sprinkle with parmesan if desired.
