# Ingredients Required:

→ Protein

01 - 450 g boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

→ Pasta

02 - 225 g uncooked penne pasta

→ Sauce & Liquid

03 - 240 ml honey BBQ sauce
04 - 120 ml low-sodium chicken broth
05 - 15 ml soy sauce (optional)

→ Seasonings & Oil

06 - 30 ml olive oil
07 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
08 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
09 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Warm olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
02 - Add chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Sear until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
03 - Pour in chicken broth and deglaze the skillet by scraping up browned bits from the bottom.
04 - Stir in honey BBQ sauce and soy sauce (if using). Allow to simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes.
05 - Add uncooked penne pasta and enough water to barely cover (approximately 240 to 360 ml). Cover and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is al dente.
06 - Return cooked chicken to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer for an additional 2 to 3 minutes to meld flavors.
07 - Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Optionally garnish with fresh herbs or vegetables before serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Use your preferred BBQ sauce to customize flavor. Adding vegetables such as bell peppers or onions enhances nutrition. Adjust water quantity to suit pasta type and cooking time.
