09 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
10 - Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

→ Garnishes

11 - Chopped parsley
12 - Shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Warm olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
02 - Add chicken pieces to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Sear until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
03 - Pour chicken broth into the skillet, scraping up browned bits from the bottom to incorporate flavor.
04 - Stir in honey BBQ sauce and optional soy sauce. Let the mixture simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes to meld flavors.
05 - Add uncooked penne pasta and approximately 240 to 360 milliliters of water, just enough to barely cover the pasta.
06 - Cover and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until penne is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
07 - Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Stir and simmer for an additional 2 to 3 minutes to combine flavors.
08 - Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes as desired. Garnish with chopped parsley and shredded cheese before serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Adjust water quantity depending on pasta type and desired sauce consistency. Increase crushed red pepper flakes for extra heat. Alternative pasta shapes and cheeses can be substituted to preference.
