Muddy Buddy Rice Krispies (Printable Version)

# Ingredients Required:

01 - 144 g Rice Krispies cereal (6 cups)
02 - 188 g powdered sugar (approx. 1 1/2 cups), divided

→ Wet ingredients

03 - 340 g chocolate chips (2 cups)
04 - 128 g creamy peanut butter (1/2 cup)
05 - 57 g unsalted butter (1/4 cup)
06 - 5 ml vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Measure out Rice Krispies cereal, chocolate chips, peanut butter, unsalted butter, and vanilla extract.
02 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until smooth.
03 - Add unsalted butter and vanilla extract to the melted mixture; stir until fully combined.
04 - Gently fold the Rice Krispies cereal into the chocolate-peanut butter mixture until evenly coated.
05 - Spread the coated mixture evenly into a baking pan or sheet and allow to cool completely to set.
06 - Place cooled bars into a resealable plastic bag, add powdered sugar, seal, and gently shake to coat evenly. Alternatively, lightly dust the bars for presentation.
07 - Cut into approximately 12 squares and serve immediately.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Adjust powdered sugar quantity to taste.
