Meaty Pizza Bake (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 lb ground beef (lean)
02 - 1 lb sausage (pork)
03 - 1 cup pepperoni, diced
04 - ¼ cup flour (plain)
05 - 4 tsp seasoning mix (Italian)
06 - 1 (26-oz) jar sauce (tomato basil)
07 - 2 cups mozzarella, shredded
08 - 1 (13.8-oz) can pizza dough (refrigerated)
09 - 1 Tbsp oil (olive)
10 - 3 Tbsp Parmesan, grated

# How to Make It:

01 - Set your oven to 425ºF and give a 9×13-inch baking dish a light coat of cooking spray.
02 - Cook the beef and sausage in a big skillet over medium-high heat until fully browned. Get rid of any extra fat.
03 - Toss the diced pepperoni, flour, and 3 tsp of the Italian seasoning into the meat. Mix everything well.
04 - Pour in the tomato basil sauce, let it bubble up, then take it off the heat.
05 - Pour your meat mixture into the dish and sprinkle 1½ cups of the mozzarella on top.
06 - Open the pizza dough and gently place it over the cheese layer.
07 - Brush some olive oil on the dough. Sprinkle the last 1 tsp of Italian seasoning, the remaining ½ cup mozzarella, and all the Parmesan on top.
08 - Pop it in the oven for 20–25 minutes until the top turns nice and golden.
09 - Let it cool down a bit before you cut into it.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Make sure you drain the meat thoroughly so your dish doesn't turn out greasy.
02 - Grab a bag of shredded cheese to save time or grate it yourself for better melting.
03 - Want a crunchier top? Bake the dough alone for 5 minutes first.
04 - Don't rush into slicing it - waiting a few minutes helps everything set up nicely.
