Loaded Taco Bake (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 15 g fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
02 - 25 g green onions, chopped up
03 - 65 g black olives, sliced
04 - 200 g cheddar cheese, shredded
05 - 120 g tortilla chips, crushed
06 - 160 g corn, frozen
07 - 425 g black beans from a can, drained and rinsed
08 - 240 ml jarred salsa
09 - 1 packet (28 g) seasoning for tacos
10 - 450 g ground beef

# How to Make It:

01 - Flip the oven on to 175°C. Let it preheat until it’s hot and good to go.
02 - Toss the beef in a big skillet over medium. Cook it up until nicely browned, then drain out any extra grease.
03 - Pour in the taco seasoning and salsa with your beef. Stir everything well. Let it cook till thickened up a bit, around 2–3 minutes.
04 - In a mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture with those black beans and corn. Mix till everything is really mixed together.
05 - Grab your 33 x 23 cm baking dish and scatter half the tortilla chips across the bottom.
06 - Spread that meaty mix over your chips, then hit it with half the shredded cheese.
07 - Top with the rest of your crushed chips and all the leftover cheddar.
08 - Sprinkle chopped green onions and sliced black olives all across the top.
09 - Slide the dish into your hot oven and bake for about 20–25 minutes till the cheese melts and gets bubbly.
10 - Let things cool a bit first. If you're into cilantro, throw it on top. Enjoy it warm.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Want it spicier? Add some chopped jalapeños or a splash of your favorite hot sauce. Swap the beef for turkey or chicken if you want it lighter. Ditch the meat entirely and go with extra beans or veggies like zucchini and bell peppers for a veggie option. Craving more creaminess? Mix in some cream cheese (about 225 g) or 240 ml sour cream right into your beef mix before baking.
