                Grab a bowl and mix your softened cream cheese with sour cream until smooth.

                Fold in 5 chopped green onions, 1 cup of grated cheddar, and ½ cup of crispy bacon bits. Mix everything well.

                Put the mixture into a deep pie dish or any baking container around 1-2 quarts. Make sure your dish works in the microwave or oven depending on how you'll heat it.

                Scatter the leftover cheddar cheese on top of your mixture.

                For microwave cooking, wrap with plastic and nuke for 5 minutes. If using the oven, bake it uncovered at 375°F (190°C) for about 20 minutes.

                Sprinkle the rest of your bacon bits and green onions on top. Grab some chips and dig in while it's hot.
