Lazy Lasagna Casserole (Printable Version)

# Ingredients Required:

01 - 453 g ground beef or Italian sausage

→ Sauces and Liquids

02 - 680 g marinara or pasta sauce
03 - 120 ml water

→ Pasta

04 - 340 g uncooked egg noodles or rotini pasta

→ Cheeses

05 - 240 g ricotta or cottage cheese
06 - 170 g shredded mozzarella cheese
07 - 50 g grated Parmesan cheese

→ Seasonings

08 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
09 - Salt to taste
10 - Black pepper to taste

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
03 - Add marinara sauce, water, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the meat. Simmer for 5 minutes.
04 - Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
05 - In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, meat sauce, and ricotta or cottage cheese until evenly combined.
06 - Transfer the mixture into a greased 23×33 cm baking dish. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly on top.
07 - Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until the casserole is bubbly and cheese is melted and golden.
08 - Allow the dish to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

01 - For best results, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese and ensure pasta is drained well to avoid excess moisture.
