No-Mix Strawberry Layer (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 8 oz block of plain cream cheese, softened up
02 - 1/2 cup white sugar
03 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (doesn’t matter if it’s real or not)
04 - 1/2 cup melted butter
05 - 1/2 cup chopped pecans (up to you if they go in)
06 - 1 box yellow cake mix, about 15.25 oz
07 - Two 21-oz cans strawberry pie stuff

# How to Make It:

01 - Let it cool just a bit, then grab a spoon and eat up while it’s still nice and warm.
02 - Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. You’re looking for a brown top and bubbling strawberries.
03 - Drizzle melted butter all over the top. If pecans are your thing, sprinkle them now.
04 - Shake the dry cake mix over the pan, making sure to cover the cream cheese batter.
05 - Blend together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Drop it in spoonfuls over the strawberries.
06 - Pour both cans of strawberry pie filling into the pan and spread it evenly.
07 - Crank the oven to 350°F (175°C), then get your 9×13 pan greased up with butter or spray.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Pile on some vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra yum
02 - You can swap in blueberry or cherry pie filling, they work just as well
