Pour half of the melted butter into the prepared loaf pan and tilt to coat the bottom evenly.

Pour the batter into the loaf pan, spreading it evenly, then brush the remaining melted butter over the top of the batter to ensure a golden crust.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
