Buttery blondies with tart cranberries and sweet white chocolate, ideal for a festive holiday treat.

# Ingredients Required:

→ Wet ingredients

01 - 170 grams unsalted butter, melted
02 - 1 large egg
03 - 5 milliliters vanilla extract

→ Dry ingredients

04 - 220 grams packed brown sugar
05 - 190 grams all-purpose flour
06 - 1.5 grams salt

→ Add-ins

07 - 170 grams white chocolate chips
08 - 120 grams fresh or frozen cranberries

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Preheat the oven to 163°C. Grease and line an 20x20 cm baking pan with foil or parchment paper, allowing for an overhang.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until fully combined.
03 - Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir until smooth.
04 - Sift in the flour and salt, then gently fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
05 - Carefully fold in white chocolate chips and cranberries, ensuring even distribution.
06 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface. Bake for 30 minutes, until edges turn golden and a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
07 - Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan before lifting out using the parchment overhang. Cut into 16 squares to serve.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For added sweetness, increase brown sugar by 55 grams. Lining the pan facilitates removal and cleanup. Substitute gluten-free flour for a gluten-free alternative.
