Smothered Pork Chops (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - Black pepper, use as much as you like
02 - Salt, sprinkle as needed
03 - 4 cut pork chops

→ Glaze

04 - 2 tablespoons salted butter
05 - 2 tablespoons honey
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
07 - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
08 - 60 millilitres apple cider
09 - 2 garlic cloves, chopped really small

# How to Make It:

01 - Ladle any tasty pan drippings over the chops when you plate them. Makes everything juicy and flavourful.
02 - Bake for about half an hour, or until the pork is soft and no longer pink in the middle.
03 - Turn over the chops and use whatever glaze is left to slather the top. Make sure every bit gets some.
04 - Drizzle half of your glaze mixture all over the pork chops. Spread it around using the back of a spoon.
05 - Pop the glaze bowl in the microwave. Heat for 30 seconds at a time, stirring now and then, until the butter’s gone and it all looks smooth.
06 - Toss together Dijon mustard, garlic, honey, rosemary, butter, and some apple cider in a bowl.
07 - Lay the pork chops in a cooking dish that’s been lightly oiled. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
08 - Turn your oven on and set it to 175°C. Let it warm up.

# Additional Tips:

01 - If you want that cozy fall feeling, mixing in some cinnamon or nutmeg works great. Like some spice? Shake in a little cayenne. Use thyme or sage instead of rosemary if you want to switch up the taste. You can even simmer your cider on the stove first to get a bolder glaze.
