01 -
Pour sesame oil, grated ginger, garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, and teriyaki sauce into a mixing bowl. Give everything a good mix until you can't see separate ingredients.
02 -
Drop the chicken into a shallow dish or a zip bag. Cover it with your marinade. Seal up or just cover, and stash in the fridge for a couple hours. Leave it in overnight if you want extra flavor to soak in.
03 -
Fire up your grill and wait until it's feeling nice and hot on medium-high.
04 -
Pull the chicken out of the marinade and hang onto the leftover liquid to use while grilling.
05 -
Toss the chicken on the grill. Let it cook for 6 or 7 minutes, then flip. Baste with that marinade you set aside and cook till it's done all the way through.
06 -
Set the pineapple slices on the grill next. Give them about 2-3 minutes on each side so they get pretty grill marks and the sweetness comes out.
07 -
Throw away any marinade that touched raw chicken. Don't save it for later.
08 -
Pile the chicken onto a big plate, lay those awesome grilled pineapple rings on top, and sprinkle with green onions and maybe some sesame seeds if you're feeling fancy.
