Ground Beef Hot Honey Bowl (Printable Version)

Savory ground beef paired with roasted sweet potatoes, creamy avocado, and a touch of spicy hot honey.

# Ingredients Required:

01 - 450 g lean ground beef (93% lean)

→ Vegetables

02 - 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
03 - 1 yellow onion, diced
04 - 1 avocado, sliced

→ Dairy

05 - 240 g cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat)

→ Oils & Fats

06 - 30 ml olive oil

→ Spices & Seasonings

07 - 1 taco seasoning packet (or 30 ml homemade)
08 - 2 tbsp (30 ml) hot honey
09 - 1/2 tsp paprika
10 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
11 - 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
12 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Toss diced sweet potatoes with 15 ml olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 40 to 45 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
02 - Heat remaining 15 ml olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until softened. Add ground beef and taco seasoning, cook until beef is browned and cooked through.
03 - Divide roasted sweet potatoes among four serving bowls. Top with cooked ground beef, sliced avocado, and cottage cheese.
04 - Drizzle each bowl with hot honey. Optionally garnish with chopped cilantro, red pepper flakes, or a lime wedge.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Adjust hot honey to desired spice level. For lower carbohydrates, reduce sweet potato quantity. Substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef if preferred.
