01 -
Sprinkle on parsley before serving. Tastes awesome right away. Spoon it over a heap of rice or mashed potatoes if that’s your thing.
02 -
Slide browned patties back into your skillet. Cover them with that rich sauce. Let everything bubble gently for five minutes so those flavors come together.
03 -
Stir in some Worcestershire sauce and keep scraping up those brown bits. Slowly add beef broth so you snag all the tasty stuff at the bottom. Let the mix simmer a few minutes and get a bit thick.
04 -
Turn the heat lower under your skillet. Pour in flour and stir for a couple of minutes until you see a thick, slightly golden mix start to form. Nothing too dark here.
05 -
Heat a large skillet with some oil on medium-high. Sear each patty about three or four minutes per side, ‘til you see a nice crust. Set them aside when done.
06 -
Take your beef mixture and make four oval shapes, each close to 2 cm thick. Try not to make any bigger or smaller so they cook through together.
07 -
Grab a big bowl. Drop in the ground beef, egg, onions, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Use your hands, but don’t mix for long. Just enough to bring everything together.
