# Ingredients Required:

01 - 907 g beef chuck roast

→ Vegetables

02 - 1 onion, diced
03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 carrots, sliced
05 - 2 stalks celery, chopped

→ Liquids

06 - 480 ml beef broth
07 - 120 ml red wine (optional)

→ Seasonings

08 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Season the beef chuck roast evenly with salt and pepper.
02 - Place the beef, diced onion, minced garlic, sliced carrots, and chopped celery into the slow cooker.
03 - Pour in the beef broth and red wine if using, then sprinkle the dried thyme over the top.
04 - Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 8 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours, until the beef is tender.
05 - Shred the beef using two forks and serve it alongside the cooked vegetables and juices.
