# Ingredients Required:

01 - 15 ml olive oil
02 - 1 large onion, diced
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced

04 - 450 g ground beef or Italian sausage

→ Liquids & Tomatoes

05 - 794 g crushed tomatoes
06 - 950 ml vegetable or chicken broth

→ Herbs & Spices

07 - 2 teaspoons dried basil
08 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
09 - 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
10 - Salt, to taste
11 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Pasta

12 - 225 g lasagna noodles, broken into pieces

→ Cheese

13 - 240 ml ricotta cheese
14 - 120 g shredded mozzarella cheese
15 - 50 g grated Parmesan cheese

→ Garnish

16 - Fresh basil leaves (optional)

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
02 - Incorporate minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
03 - Add ground beef or Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking up pieces, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
04 - Stir in crushed tomatoes, broth, dried basil, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes if using. Bring mixture to a boil.
05 - Add broken lasagna noodles once boiling. Reduce heat to simmer and cook 10-12 minutes until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
06 - Adjust salt and black pepper to taste.
07 - Remove pot from heat and stir in ricotta cheese until fully combined.
08 - Ladle soup into bowls. Top each serving with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
09 - Optionally garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
