Smothered Chicken Texas Style (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Components

01 - 120 g jack cheese, shredded
02 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

→ Sauce & Seasoning

04 - 1 teaspoon paprika
05 - Salt and black pepper as needed
06 - 120 ml chicken broth (low sodium)
07 - 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
08 - 120 ml heavy cream

# How to Make It:

01 - Before serving, give that chicken a good 5 minutes to chill out so it stays juicy and tasty.
02 - Lay the cooked chicken and sauce in your dish. Scatter cheese on top, then stick it in the oven for about 20-25 minutes. You want the sauce bubbling and the cheese totally melted.
03 - Pour chicken broth and cream into your skillet. Stir a bit as it simmers so you catch all the tasty bits off the bottom.
04 - Throw in garlic and sprinkle paprika over the chicken. Keep stirring for a minute until everything smells awesome.
05 - Season your chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Drop them into a skillet with melted butter over medium heat. Sear each side for five or six minutes till they look golden brown.
06 - Turn your oven to 190°C and give your baking dish a quick spray so nothing sticks.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Letting the chicken sit a few minutes before serving helps the meat stay juicy and keep that awesome flavor in.
