# Ingredients Required:

01 - 480 grams mashed potatoes, cooled

→ Cheese and Dairy

02 - 120 grams shredded Emmental or cheddar cheese
03 - 1 large egg

→ Seasonings

04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
06 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

→ Flour and Coating

07 - 120 grams all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
08 - Breadcrumbs for coating

→ Frying

09 - Vegetable oil for frying or cooking spray for oven use

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, egg, salt, black pepper, paprika if using, and flour. Mix until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.
02 - On a floured surface, roll out the dough to approximately 1.25 cm thickness. Cut into sticks roughly 7.5 cm long and 1.25 cm wide.
03 - Roll each dough stick evenly in breadcrumbs to ensure full coating.
04 - Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the sticks for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Alternatively, arrange on a baking tray, spray lightly with oil, and bake at 200°C for 20 to 25 minutes, turning halfway through.
05 - Remove the sticks and drain on paper towels. Serve warm accompanied by your choice of dipping sauce.
