Creamy Cajun Sausage Pasta (Printable Version)

# Ingredients Required:

→ Pasta

01 - 340 grams bowtie pasta

→ Meat

02 - 400 grams smoked sausage, sliced

→ Sauce

03 - 15 milliliters olive oil
04 - 5 milliliters Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
05 - 410 grams canned diced tomatoes
06 - 240 milliliters heavy cream
07 - 170 grams shredded cheddar cheese

→ Seasoning

08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Black pepper, to taste

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Boil bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add sliced sausage and cook until browned.
03 - Reduce heat, stir in Cajun seasoning and diced tomatoes; simmer for two minutes.
04 - Pour in heavy cream and stir. When gently bubbling, add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
05 - Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until evenly coated. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
06 - Serve hot, optionally garnished with parsley or extra cheese.
