Place the bread on a cutting board and trim off the crusts, keeping each slice intact.

Starting at one end of each bread slice, roll it tightly into a pinwheel shape and secure with a toothpick.

Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat and sprinkle the cinnamon in the pan where the pinwheels will be cooked.

Place the pinwheels in the skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Remove from heat and serve warm with maple syrup or honey for dipping.
