12 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
02 - Season the chicken pieces with salt and ground black pepper. Set aside.
03 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until just al dente. Drain, reserving 60 milliliters of the pasta water. Do not overcook as the pasta will finish cooking in the oven.
04 - Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add diced onions and cook for about 4 minutes until translucent. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 4 to 6 minutes until cooked through. Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for an additional minute.
05 - Pour marinara sauce and red pepper flakes into the skillet with the chicken mixture. Reduce heat to low and stir to combine.
06 - Add the drained pasta and half of the grated Parmesan cheese into the skillet. Stir thoroughly to combine. If the mixture appears dry, incorporate some of the reserved pasta water to loosen.
07 - Top the pasta mixture with shredded mozzarella and the remaining Parmesan cheese. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly. If an oven-safe skillet is unavailable, transfer contents to a greased 23x33 cm (9x13 inch) baking dish before baking.
08 - Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped basil or parsley before serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Reserving pasta water helps adjust the sauce consistency for better coating of pasta.
