Combine self-raising flour and salt in a bowl. Add milk and melted butter, stirring until a soft dough forms.

Lightly flour a surface and knead dough briefly until smooth. Roll out into a rectangular shape.

Evenly spread Vegemite over the dough, then sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top.

Roll dough tightly from the long edge to form a log. Slice into 2 to 3 cm thick scrolls and arrange cut side up on the tray.
