Ranch Sausage Potatoes Cheese (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 180 grams shredded cheddar or other cheese mix
02 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper, ground
03 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
06 - 900 grams baby potatoes, cut into chunks
07 - 450 grams halal smoked sausage, cut into thin coins
08 - 1 packet ranch seasoning mix - make sure it's halal

→ To Serve (Optional)

09 - Chopped parsley
10 - 120 ml sour cream

# How to Make It:

01 - Sprinkle chopped parsley over everything. Dish it up while it's still hot. If folks want, let them add sour cream at the table.
02 - Pull your pan from the oven, scatter cheese all over the sausage and potatoes, pop it back in for 5 minutes so the cheese goes gooey and melts.
03 - Roast for about 35 to 40 minutes at 200°C. Flip everything halfway so you get nice even browning and the potatoes turn golden and soft when poked.
04 - Spread the potatoes out on your sheet, then drop the sausage pieces everywhere on top so they get crispy too.
05 - Throw the cut potatoes in your biggest bowl. Add some olive oil, plus half your seasoning blend. Toss it all around so every bit is covered.
06 - Stir the ranch, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper together in a little bowl until the spices look even.
07 - Rinse your potatoes then chop them into halves or quarters. Slice up sausage into round pieces about as thick as a pencil.
08 - Start by heating your oven to 200°C. Cover a big baking tray with parchment or give it a quick spray.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Spread things out on the baking pan so everything gets nicely roasted and crispier edges.
02 - Baby potatoes are quicker—they keep their shape better compared to the big ones.
03 - Switch up the cheese if you like—try mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack for a new taste.
