Cheeseburger Foil Pack (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Beef Patties

01 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
02 - 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
03 - 1 large egg, whisked
04 - 450 g ground beef, 80% lean

→ Vegetables

05 - 450 g baby carrots
06 - 4 small potatoes, peeled and cut paper-thin

→ Seasoning and Assembly

07 - 4 slices cheese
08 - 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
09 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
10 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

# How to Make It:

01 - Kick off by cranking your grill to 175°C and let it get nice and hot.
02 - Take a big bowl, toss in the ground beef, egg, seasoning salt, and garlic powder. Mix it all up. Split into four balls and shape into patties. Leave them aside for now.
03 - Grab another bowl. Drop in the carrot chunks and potato slices. Pour in olive oil, sprinkle salt and pepper. Give everything a big stir so it’s all glossy.
04 - Tear off four big sheets of foil—aim for about 30 x 45 cm each. Spritz them with cooking spray. Pile up the veggies in the center of each, then top with a beef patty.
05 - Fold up your packets so nothing leaks. Place each on the grill with the beef facing up. Let them grill for 35 to 45 minutes, until the meat’s cooked and the veggies feel soft—flip the packets for the last 20 minutes for even cooking.
06 - Carefully pull open the foil so the beef patties are showing. Lay a cheese slice on top of each. Shut the grill lid and wait 2 to 3 more minutes so the cheese melts nicely.

# Additional Tips:

01 - You can also pop the packets into your oven at 175°C on a big tray. Let them cook around 45 minutes, making sure everything’s cooked through and soft.
