If using fresh green beans, trim, cut, and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain canned green beans in a colander; thaw frozen if used.

In a bowl, mix condensed mushroom soup with milk, stirring until smooth with no lumps. Add soy sauce and blend thoroughly.

Fold in green beans and two-thirds of the crispy fried onions. Season with black pepper and mix well to ensure even coating.

Transfer the mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly.

For air fryer: Bake at 175°C for 10 minutes, stir, then sprinkle remaining onions on top and bake for another 2 minutes to achieve browning. For conventional oven: Bake at 175°C for 25 minutes, stir, add remaining onions, and bake an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
