Heat 20 ml olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan and let rest.

Add remaining 15 ml olive oil to the skillet, reduce heat, and sauté minced garlic for approximately 1 minute, taking care to avoid burning.

Add halved tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften.

Stir in balsamic vinegar, chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes then remove from heat.

Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 120 ml pasta water, then drain.

Add pasta to the skillet with tomato mixture and toss to combine. Incorporate reserved pasta water as needed to adjust consistency.

Slice rested chicken breasts into thin strips, add to pasta and toss to combine evenly.
