Heat oil in a frying pan, add the bacon pieces, and fry until crisp and golden brown. Remove bacon and set aside.

In the remaining oil, sauté garlic until golden brown. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan, stirring continuously for about 10 seconds until slightly thickened.

Add the blanched broccoli and bacon pieces to the pan. Toss thoroughly to coat with the garlic sauce and heat through. Serve immediately.
