# Ingredients Required:

→ Cake

01 - 1 box chocolate cake mix or 1 homemade chocolate cake

→ Whipped Cream

02 - 240 ml heavy cream
03 - 60 g powdered sugar
04 - 5 ml vanilla extract

→ Cherries

05 - 480 g canned or fresh pitted cherries with juice or syrup
06 - 60 ml cherry juice (from canned or fresh cherries)

→ Pudding

07 - 480 ml vanilla pudding (store-bought or homemade)

→ Garnish

08 - 120 ml dark chocolate shavings or grated chocolate
09 - 1 tablespoon (5 g) cocoa powder (optional)

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Prepare the chocolate cake as per instructions on the mix or your homemade recipe. Once fully cooled, cut the cake into approximately 2.5 cm cubes for layering.
02 - In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract using an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
03 - If using canned cherries, drain while reserving the juice; if fresh, pit and chop. Combine cherries with their juice or syrup and allow to marinate briefly.
04 - In a large trifle dish or individual glasses, start with a layer of chocolate cake cubes, press gently. Spread a layer of vanilla pudding over the cake, then evenly distribute marinated cherries with some juice. Add a generous layer of whipped cream smoothing with a spatula. Repeat the layering sequence until the dish is filled, finishing with whipped cream on top.
05 - Decorate the top layer with dark chocolate shavings and a few whole cherries. Optionally dust with cocoa powder. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight to let flavors meld and set the layers.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For best texture, ensure the cake is completely cooled before layering to prevent sogginess.
