01 - In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt until evenly mixed.
02 - Gradually add beer to the dry mixture, then fold in shredded cheddar, Monterey Jack cheeses, 60 g melted butter, and minced chives until just combined.
03 - Spoon the batter evenly into 12 greased regular or 6 greased jumbo muffin cups.
04 - Melt the remaining 30 g butter and drizzle evenly over each muffin portion to enhance browning and flavor.
05 - Bake at 175°C for 35 to 40 minutes or until tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
