Baked Brie with Strawberries (Printable Version)

# Ingredients Required:

01 - 120 grams strawberries, diced, plus extra for garnish

→ Sweeteners and Flavorings

02 - 12 grams brown or white sugar
03 - 5 milliliters balsamic vinegar
04 - 1 teaspoon (about 1 gram) finely chopped fresh mint or fresh basil

→ Cheese

05 - 340 grams Brie cheese wheel (8 to 14 ounces)

→ Nuts

06 - 43 grams candied almonds and/or pecans, roughly chopped

# Guide to Cooking:

01 - Preheat the oven to 204°C. In a mixing bowl, toss the diced strawberries with sugar and let rest while baking the Brie.
02 - Unwrap the Brie and place in a small baking dish. Score the top rind carefully without cutting through. Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese softens and starts to ooze.
03 - During the last 5 to 6 minutes of baking, stir balsamic vinegar, chopped nuts, and fresh herbs into the strawberry mixture.
04 - Remove the Brie from the oven, top with the strawberry mixture, garnish with whole strawberries, and serve with crackers or baguette slices.
