Combine the crushed garlic, chopped basil and soft butter in a bowl till smooth. Smear this mix on one side of each bread piece. Scatter about half a tablespoon of shredded Parmesan onto each buttered surface, lightly pushing it into the butter.

Fill a pot with water, add salt and bring to a boil. Toss in the angel hair pasta and cook until it's firm but not hard (al dente). Drain completely.
03 -
Empty the hot drained pasta into a bowl with the Bolognese sauce. Stir them together till the pasta is fully covered.
04 -
Flip one bread slice butter-side down. Put 3 slices of mozzarella across the bread. Add the pasta mixture evenly on top of the cheese. Layer the other 3 mozzarella slices on the pasta. Top with the second bread slice, making sure the butter side faces up.
05 -
Warm up a skillet on medium-low (you won't need extra butter or oil). Drop the sandwich in, put a lid on top. Let it cook without moving for about 5-6 minutes until the bottom turns golden. Flip it carefully, cover again, and cook until the other side browns and all the cheese melts.
