Spicy Chicken Cheese Sandwich (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 8 pieces white or wheat sandwich bread
02 - 2 cups shredded chicken meat (leftover or store-bought rotisserie works great)
03 - 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
04 - 1/4 teaspoon spicy cayenne (skip if you can't handle heat)
05 - 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
06 - 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
07 - 1/2 cup buffalo-style hot sauce (like Frank's)
08 - 1/2 cup creamy ranch (bottled or homemade)
09 - 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
10 - 4 tablespoons butter, room temperature
11 - 4-8 slices mild muenster
12 - 4 tablespoons crumbly blue cheese

# How to Make It:

01 - Grab a small bowl and throw in your soft cream cheese, blue cheese crumbles, sweet paprika, black pepper, and spicy cayenne. Stir everything together until it's smooth and well blended. Put it aside for now.
02 - Take another bowl and dump in your shredded chicken. Pour in the hot sauce and ranch, then add your crushed garlic. Mix it all up so the chicken gets totally covered in that tasty sauce.
03 - Smear butter on one face of each bread slice. Turn them over and spread your cheese mixture onto four of those slices. Scoop about 1/2 cup of your chicken mix onto each cheese-covered slice. Lay one or two muenster slices on the remaining bread pieces and close up your sandwiches.
04 - Coat a big skillet with some cooking spray. Drop your sandwiches in and cook them slowly on low heat for about 5 minutes until they're crispy and golden. Flip them over and cook another 5 minutes on the other side. You might need to do this in batches if your pan isn't big enough.
05 - Take your hot sandwiches off the heat and eat them right away. If you want, serve with extra buffalo sauce, ranch, or blue cheese dressing on the side.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Leftover sandwiches can stay wrapped in foil in your fridge for a couple days. To warm them up, stick them in a 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes and they'll taste almost fresh-made.
02 - Don't like the cheese choices? Try some Colby Jack, Monterey Jack, white cheddar, or regular mozzarella instead.
03 - Want to jazz things up? Try adding mashed avocado, chopped fresh tomatoes, or crunchy diced celery to your filling or cheese spread.
