Top DIY Tartar Sauce (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1/2 cup mayo (homemade works too)
02 - 1 small dill pickle, finely chopped (about 3 tbsp)
03 - 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, with extra on standby
04 - 1 tbsp chopped capers (try it, you'll like it)
05 - 1 tbsp fresh chopped dill or 1 tsp dried dill
06 - 1/2 to 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
07 - 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard (worth adding)
08 - Salt and fresh ground pepper, as needed

# How to Make It:

01 - Grab a small bowl and throw in the mayo, diced pickles, lemon juice, capers, dill, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Stir everything together until it's smooth and well mixed.
02 - Sprinkle in some salt and pepper. Give it a taste and add more lemon juice, salt or pepper if you think it needs it.
03 - Cover the sauce and pop it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before you use it. This lets all the flavors mingle together.
04 - You can keep this in your fridge for up to a week in a sealed container.

# Additional Tips:

01 - This sauce tastes best when eaten within seven days. You might want to make twice as much so you can use it throughout the week.
